It would be easier to tell you where not to stop.
Generally all Swiss towns have an attractive center, and all the countryside is pleasant, if not outstanding. Avoid stopping for long on the autobahn restaurants & rest places, they are really only suitable for using the toilet.
My advice is just drive for an hour, then visit the next town you come to.
Do you really need to drive? The trains are excellent, and you can see more in a relaxed manner. You can also leave the train and visit a town at no extra cost (provided you complete the ticketed journey within one day)
